Position: EHS Leader
Location: CTC
Band: SP
Report to: EHS Manager – Global Research Center
Dotted line report to: General Manager – CTC
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Promote a positive EHS culture at all levels of the organization by providing leadership and technical expertise for site operations.
* Partner with the site leadership team to establish and maintain robust EHS systems/programs
* Ensure EHS performance excellence by tangible measurements, program evaluation, digitization, and employee involvement
* Drive systematic EHS management program improvement and implementation
* Oversee the delivery of applicable safety and compliance training and monitor compliance through a robust audit program
* Promote EHS awareness among leadership team and employees
* Build and develop CTC EHS team by recruiting EHS talents, developing team's expertise, energizing the team and retaining the best talents
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of solid EHS experience in a multi national company
* Bachelor above degree in engineering, science or related field
* Strong leadership skills
* High energy level and ability to energize others
* Ability to work under pressure and influence in a fairly matrix organization
* Effective communication skills and strong team player
* Result & process oriented
* Highly proficiency in both English and Mandarin is desirable
