Job Description:
The Safety Manager is responsible for the Safety System management of Tianjin Fulfillment Center.
He/she is responsible for leading the team to provide on-site direction and guidance for site safety audit and correction to ensure proper execution, implements and enforces the Safety policies and procedures set forth by Amazon.com.
Additional responsibilities include, but not necessarily limited to:
– Knowledgeable of EHS regulations that impact operations
– Promote a positive EHS culture at all levels of the organization.
– Ability to manage and influence organization culture, personnel, and EHS programs at multiple locations. Able to influence, motivate, and communicate to employees in a dispersed work environment.
– Maintain compliance with local EHS regulations, as related to operations. Coordinate EHS training, lead EHS compliance audits, and maintain EHS records. Ensure resolution and effective closure of all regulatory findings within 30 days.
– Provide technical expertise for EHS teams/committees, management and employees to implement best in class EHS programs
