EHS Manager
·Manages the environmental & safety and health network within the china region
(site managers, environmental & safety officers)
·Monitors and reports ESH performance and ESH compliance in the region
·Performs environmental & safety audits and inspections
·Validates the bi-annual regional sustainability data
·Assists sites for specific programs
·Maintains contacts with management in the region.
·Maintains contacts with relevant federations of industry, with other companies, with professional organizations and
with non-governmental organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
·Required - 8+ years experience with environmental, health and safety management
·Required - Bachelor or Masters Degree in Health, Safety & Environmental Sciences
·Preferred - Advanced Degree in Environment or Health & Safety
·Strong written and verbal communications skills
·Excellent mastering of English Language
·Proven performance in obtaining results
·Ability to work within a cross functional global organization
·Ability to effectively implement global continual improvement (increase simplification while maintaining or improving compliance)
·Strong project management and leadership skills
