Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintains site-wide industrial HSE programs and policies.
· Supervises and trains subordinates assigned to his/her area or project.
· Assures timely investigations, inspections, and reporting of HSE matters within the area assigned or project.
· Supports workers’ compensation interface.
· Provides regulatory interface.
· Participates in monitoring and controlling HSE standards and applicable laws and regulations.
· Creates and administers orientation program for project employees.
· Maintains records, reports, and documents to meet company or regulatory requirements.
· Conducts investigations of project incidents that may result in litigation; obtains and protects collected data.
· Under supervision, maintains liaison with owners’ representatives, insurance carriers, the community, and the corporate HSE group.
· Creates, evaluates, and administers company policies and procedures concerning HSE matters.
· Performs other HSE duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements
- Four (4) year college degree plus three (3) years of HSE experience or typically has six (5) years of HSE or project related experience
