公告称，9月20日17 时22分，公司烟台工业园MDI装置在按年度计划停车检修期间，一个12立方米粗M产品中间缓冲罐发生爆裂，造成8名工作人员受伤，受伤人员被迅速送往医 院救治，抢救无效死亡4人（其中20日死亡3人， 21日凌晨死亡1人），其余4人状态稳定。经现场检测，事故没有对周边环境造成污染，现场无次生灾害发生。
事故发生后，公司立即启动事故应急预案，全力组织救治伤员，妥善做好事故善后工作，目前事故原因正在调查中，公司将根据事故调查进展情况及时履行披露义务。
