Job Description 1. Serves as chief manager of China for the occupational, health and safety and environmental (OHS/E) areas in local plants.
2. Assists in establishing local strategies, policies and guidelines and helps ensure OHS/E requirements are incorporated into the OHS/E strategies of CIMPOR Group.
3. Demonstrates technical knowledge and leads in evaluating work environment exposures and business risks.
4. Helps builds organizational capability by mentoring and training OHS resources on corporate level OHS/E programs and processes.
Requirements 1. Bachelor degree or above.
2. More than 5 years experiences in OHS, especially preferred in cement or manufacturing industry.
3. Has strong knowledge of Chinese regulatory requirements, OHS/E related management systems and ability to effectively manage corporate level programs and processes for a multinational company.
4. A broad and comprehensive range of interpersonal skills is required for this position (namely; passion for the job, team leadership, collaboration skills, ability to influence others and assess risk).
5. Strong English skill, both oral and written are required.
