Have at least ten (10) years of HS&E work experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities and be capable of quickly assessing and taking action on all relevant HS&E issues.
Have HS&E program managerial experience with emphasis on strong communication and organizational skills.
Have prior manufacturing experience, as well as, experience with a broad range of HS&E regulations and programs relating to the operation.
Be capable of working independently and be able to provide timely value-add support for HS&E programs in the absence of senior leadership.
Have a bachelor's degree in HS&E or related science or business field. A professional certification in the HS&E field (i.e. Certified Safety Professional, Professional Engineer, Certified Industrial Hygienist) is preferred.
Be able to assess risks and to recommend appropriate corrective actions in routine, urgent, and emergency situations.
Possess solid working knowledge of Chinese HS&E regulations, especially chemical safety/management, hazardous energy control, hazard communication, personal protective equipment & chemical hygiene and have a working knowledge of Life Safety and Fire Codes desirable.
Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification is preferred.
