ur client, a well established Global Logistics Company is now looking for a Safety General Manager to join their team. This position is to be based in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
Maintain quality system requirements, e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, in line with the corporate quality policy
Develop & implement quality plan to bring the company's quality assurance system and policies into compliance with quality systems requirements
Implement ongoing quality improvement process by determining operational and performance qualifications and establishing quality attributes
Maintain an effective document control system in line with quality system requirements
Conduct periodical internal audits
To improve internal quality policies & procedures and review quality manual / handbook
Responsible for promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
Conduct risk analysis, investigate incidents, recommend corrective and preventive measures
Administrate project safety / quality assurance system documentation
Lead warehouse management process
Work with the functional managers to ensure that the database changes occur promptly and properly
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering or other related discipline
Min. 5 years experience in Safety / Quality Assurance field and with at least 2 years at supervisory level, preferably in logistics sector
Knowledge in Truck Management, especially in Long Haul Truck
Good knowledge in QA systems, contemporary QA concepts and approaches
Good understanding of local culture and with extensive network with external stakeholders
Proactive, high degree of integrity and able to work independently
Good interpersonal and communication skill with analytical mind
Knowledge in industrial standard quality systems and its renewal application process
Well-verse of Health & Safety and Quality assurance regulations
Good command of written and spoken in English and Chinese
