Position: Regional EHS Manager

Key Responsibilities:
The Regional EHS Manager reports to the Global EHS Director.
The role of the Regional EHS Manager is responsible for leadership and development of professional and administrative environmental staff ensuring all environmental programs, procedures, training, work practices and controls are effectively implemented.
This position is responsible for identifying applicable environmental regulations and risks in Greater China region while interacting with Operations, Planning, Legal, Engineering, in order to ensure compliance and conformance to EHS Policies and Management System.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in the area of Environmental studies or related field
- At least ten years of professional environmental experience with a strong knowledge of Environmental regulations and some Health and Safety regulatory knowledge, three to five years experience supervising/managing people.
- Ability to drive results, driving change, business understanding and teamwork.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of EHS management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with wide variety of audiences (operators, management, engineering, etc,).
- Thorough understanding of risk management, as relates to environmental, and loss control methodology.
