Ø Provide inputs and implement the logistics HSSE plans and systems, aligning with logistics operation strategy/tactics.

Ø Supporting Logistics HSSE Manager to drive for HSSE performance and OMS compliance:

n   To manage all service providers to achieve all safety performance indexes in logistics activities.

n   To actively lead & participate in HSSE review.

n   To strictly follow MOC and actively participate/lead risk assessment

n   To actively share learning of any potential HSE issues within the team, BP network, & with service providers.

n   Lead accident investigation, logistics related audits and inspections.

Ø Supporting Logistics HSSE Manager, to provide assurance to BPZ HSSE logistics performance, through system implementation & systematic monitoring/surveillances programs.

Ø Support Logistics operation activities in E–china or S-china, to ensure safe, reliable, & efficient services & any optimizations, as well as vendor qualification, etc,

Ø Provide coaching to logistics service providers.

n   Ensure training plans / programs developed & implemented with logistics service providers. 

n   Provide leadership/coaching to service providers.

Ø Interface with BPZ site HSSE, other departments / contractors to provide practical advice on Logistics HSSE issues.

Ø To ensure QHSE or near-miss events (of distribution and warehousing) analyzed in root causes and ensure that action plan is place to prevent re-occurrence.

Ø Ensure crisis and emergency management.

Ø Accountable for logistics HSSE documentation control and record collection

Ø Strive for any opportunities for improvement and optimization base on his/her knowledge, experience and lessons learned.

1.      Multimode logistics operation in difficult operating environments

2.      Frequent updated China PTA market & customer pool, causing in needs of quick response & comprehensive risk management, to meet both customer needs & compliance requirements.

3.      Keeping up to date with changing logistics HSSE legislation and BP Group Standards

4.      Maintaining / enhancing influence over the contractors and government on logistics HSSE improvement

5.      Contractor management and to bring up all logistics service crew up to BP safety standard.

6.      Effective internal and external communication of BPZ, involving HSSE group, logistics service providers, police/port authorities and to achieve timely delivery of product.

·       Experience in a logistics environment would be an advantage.

College or university degree.

·       Degree holder of being bestowed with professional qualification in technical or chemical industrial field.

·       5 years minimum of experiences in logistics safety or operation.

·       Demonstrated knowledge of HSSE and transportation or Marine product handling activities.

·       The ability to promote a positive and safe work environment and culture.

·       Knowledge of the best HSSE practices on road safety and ports, terminals and barge transshipment facilities.

·       The experience as inspectors’ role and knowledge of marine operations is a plus.

·       Mandarin speaking is essential.  Good English language skill in reading, writing and conversation is required.

·       Microsoft office skill is required, Expert of Excel is a plus.
