Requirement:
1.4-year college degree, major in Safety or environment engineering is a plus
2.Over 3-year working experience in the area of EHS
3.Good people skill and communication skill
4.Be able to work independently
5.Proficient English both in writing and speaking
Principal Accountability & Duties
ENVIRONMENTAL
1.Maintain inspections, reports and audits required by local, state, federal agencies as well as ISO14001.
2.Maintain documents, procedures, records and data required by law and 14001.
3.Maintain and revise, ISO14001 EMS system as required.
4.Review and update changes to codes, regulations and laws.
5.Complete divisional and corporate reports as required.
6.Initiate, follow-up and manage EMS corrective action system.
7.Set, review and maintain plant aspects, objectives and targets and legal and other requirements annually or as needed.
8.Ensure all Permit renewal requirements are met.
9.Prepare and discuss staff meeting requirements.
10.Attend seminars and annual environmental conference.
11.Maintain quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting.
12.Coordinate with maintenance and other departments on ISO procedures and daily, weekly, monthly, etc, inspections and findings.
13.Ensure requirements for visuals emissions readers are met.
14.Ensure contractor safety and environmental procedures are updated and followed.
SAFETY
1.Review and maintain legal and other requirements required for safe personnel and plant performance.
2.Initiate, prepare and maintain procedures and documents as required by local, state, federal authorities, as well as divisional and corporate requirements.
3.Ensure records and reporting requirements to corporate, local, state and federal authorities as well as division and corporate are met.
4.Investigate accidents and causes.
5.Meet Emergency Action Coordinator requirements.
6.Ensure equipment changes and new equipment safety check forms are completed.
7.Schedule safety meetings.
8.Plan annual safety topics and requirements.
9.Develop, maintain and implement contractor safety programs.
10.Audit and inspection requirements for plant and contractor activities.
11.Review contractor safety records.
12.Maintain OSHA logs and associated activities.
13.Review, recommend and maintain safety equipment requirements for all areas of plant.
14.Ensure IIP programs are reviewed, updated and followed.
15.Ensure completion of Line Driven Safety by managers.
16.Initiate, develop and implement new employee programs.
17.Ensure new and existing employee records for safety training are updated and maintained as required.
INDUSTRAIL HYGIENE
1.Review and maintain legal and other requirements required for safe personnel and plant performance.
2.Develop systems, procedures and processes to meet requirements.
3.Perform required air testing, noise monitoring, etc.
4.Ensure all reports are made, records maintained and systems in place to meet local, state, federal, divisional and corporate requirements.
TRAINING
1.Review, recommend and develop training programs for Environmental, Safety and Industrial Hygiene.
2.Develop and maintain training schedule for required activities.
3.Maintain and schedule training room area and training documents.
4.Ensure new employees are trained and records kept on all above requirements.
5.Ensure records are maintained and training scheduled for existing employees ongoing basis.
6.Maintain records required by corporate, ISO, local, state and federal authorities.
7.Conduct training for above activities as required.
8.Conduct training for contractors as required.
9.Coordinate and conduct fork truck and other mobile equipment training and maintain records.
