I have been devoted in EHS for the last 11 years. I am currently the EHS advisor for AkzoNobel asia pacific region, a position I have held since the beginning in 2011. The roles in my scope include HSE training coordinator, regulatory compliance coordinator and emergency response coordinator at regional corporate level. I also provide technical, operational and conceptual guidance and support for supply chain management in the region.
Prior to this job, I had been worked as EHS manager for a sBU of ABB China for 3 years. In this position, I head efforts in to fully integrate health programs, workplace safety, industrial hygiene, environmental protection and energy efficiency in the BU sites.
Prior to ABB, I had been worked as a senior EHS engineer for a sBU of GE China for 3 years. I was primarily responsible for management of programs pertaining to plant safety, industrial hygiene, fire protection, fleet safety and environmental affairs, including liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with GE worldwide safety guidelines and environmental practices.
I started my work experience as a Responsible Care coordinator in a JV company in Shanghai in 2001.
I am a certified safety engineer, and have an Engineering Bachelor degree from East China University of Science, with major in Chemical Engineering.
